  3. When Machida gets aggressive he is the best, problem is, he doesn’t do it nearly enough, appears lazy. I think you deserve to lose when you seem to be trying to win only about 10 or 15 percent of the time. Same thing in the Shogun fights. It’s really to bad, because Machida really is good.

  4. people who say machida should have won don’t know the sport. stop being retarded, rampage had the first two rounds, no matter what machida did in the third.

  5. Yeah, Rampage won because he was hitting Lyoto with a lot punches and controled him against th cage. Remember Ed Sores said, you can’t beat someone with just kicks and Lyoto was only striking with mostly kicks in the first 2 rounds. Rampage is a great striker because he uses footwork and head movement, and an active jab to set up his punches. I called this fight before Rua got the title shot.I said Rampage would win because he he cuts off the ring instead of chasing guys. Good win for Rampage, hope to see the remtach between him and Rua for the title.

  6. the 1st round was owned by machida. And at the end of the 2nd round Jackson was saved by the bell. If it was a 5 round fight Rampage would be knocked out or submitted. At the end of the match Rampage raised Machidas hand.

  10. You’re right, he’s not a martial artist, he’s a fighter. Real martial artist don’t fight for money. They pratcie the art, and that’s all. And he’s a great boxer and a good wrestler. He likes to stand up and trade, and hey, he threw alot more kicks then can ever remember. That’s progress.

  11. yeah man. I love Rampage to death but…He didn’t win that fight. He knows it and so do we. In the judges eyes, maybe. But if he goes up against Rashad next. He will get beat. And like I said i’m a HUGE Rampage fan. He hasn’t evolved and the sport has. He’s still a cool MoFo though.

  14. Listen, Jackson’s pros are boxing and wrestling, probably the best at that in the business, there’s nothing wrong with using your strengths for the win. His defense, on the other hand, is well rounded and he can defend against any type of mma fighter. If he focused on being more well rounded in his offense his boxing and wrestling wouldn’t be as strong. Plus, seeing different styles of fighting is more entertaining, than seeing mirror matches of well rounded mma styles.

  16. Machida was the best … He won the fight … Everybody saw, minus the judges … If the UFC wants to retain credibility, they should ban judges “blind ” to analyze the images and deliver the victory to the true winner: Lyoto Machida.

  17. Jon Jones also robbed machida of round 1 so its no the first time judges robbed machida of a round becuase they dont ” respect ” His karate style and his amazing footwork and Precision striking.
