Was a little unhappy with this fight. George did his thing with the takedowns and smothering. His ground is great. Was unhappy with Dan not opening up and George not peoning up on his feet. Was a boring fight. But great game plan.

GSP needs to have heavyweight-type KO power if it’s going to be yet another 5 rounds of slow. Carwin v Mir, for example.

Super BORING GSP’s new nick name needs to be MR.GROUND AND CUDDLE…i cant say hes preformance was bad but if he’s gonna continue this same “game plan” i dont think i would watch him fight..Dan got some heart for not tapping.i woulda like to see the stand up war. i think gsp woulda got knocked out.

GSP did what he had to do to win, although its rather boring. it wouldn’t have been wise for him to trade- most likely woulda have got ko’d. Hardy was taken off his rhythm by the take-downs but thats his biggest wekness and GSP biggest strength so that’s how he played the game.

i didnt think it was boering GSP Domminated, yeah sure i would have loved to see him KO Hardy but shit he had this fight from the beginning takedown after takedown and working hardy on the ground GSP did his thang and did it like a Canadian Champion. represent.

It is absolutely absurd that people claim that GSP is a boring fighter. People blatantly thrash any fight that is not a KO. GSP said in a post-fight interview that he believed he was better than Hardy at stand-up (by a small margin). He KNEW that he was lightyears ahead of him on the ground. So he was smart, and took him to the ground every time. Georges is a master strategist and is impeccable at executing a game plan. That’s what it takes to be a champion, and all these little whiners who complain about a no-KO victory have to understand that.
