Fail Sonnen was lucky too last that long. He’d be fucked in a rematch. Silva would choke him in the 1st round next time. The Spider will probably be 36 if they fight again and he’ll still beat that bitch ass wrestler.

I dont shut up because I just love frustrating Silva haters……..its too much fun. Oh and also because I have an uncanny habit of being right. Not that predicting a triangle in this fight was very difficult as Sonnen does have a history of losing this way. Full credit to Sonnen for sticking it to his last few opponents, but he still hasnt managed to put anyone away with his bitch slaps in the UFC.
If your gonna hate on Silva you may as well support someone who has a chance at the KO eg Vitor or Jones (if Silva moves to LHW). I don’t like Brock but at least he has exciting fights and finishes his opponents. Supporting fighters like Sonnen that can only win by decision is lame.

I watch the fight last night and actually turned it off when Chael got the last take down in the 5th. I went to other sites to see their reactions to Anderson losing. I have the fight playing and hear rogen screaming “HE’S GOT HIM IN A TRIANGLE!! ITS OVER!!!” And almost fainted! Anderson better thank whoever he prays to for that one! I thought all the way up to the fight that sonnen was in his head and he was rib injury or not. That was a great fight to say the least because it goes to show you, no matter how much your winning in the fight it isn’t over until there is a bell or a ref between you. Great fight!!!

Well, this goes to show when you are the undisputed true champion, that after all that pounding taken someone like The SPIDER Chmapion Mr Silva pulls off such an extraordinary move and win trapping Chael Sonnen like a little rat!! I loved the look in Sonnen’s eyes at the end, nice to see all that arrogance and trash talking gone away, maybe if he had been humble in the pre fight I would have had some compassion for the guy, after all he really stood up to Silva and gave him a run around and fought really well!

Reguardless of fluke or luck, what ever you want to call it Chael got caught, he tapped and lost. And it was not a completly dominating performance. Anderson landed good strikes that hurt Chael. I’m a fight fan, I don’t really have a specific favorite fighter. There’s fighters I respect more then others, but I don’t nut hug. As for what’ll happen in a remtch: anything. Anderson could be more aggressive and land more strikes, or Chael can do what he did before. I’m not saying Chael did bad in this fight it’s just, I personlly, am not a big fan of wrestlers. I’ve been watching this sport for 8 years now and I’m no noob.But I don’t like Chael because of what happened in the first Paulo Filho fight, which was exacatly like this fight bu in 2 rounds not 5. In a rematch………..Chael will continue to take Silva down with ease, Chael will land more blows than Silva and Chael will again be very effective at minimising Silva’s striking. Chael will also come out of a rematch with more cuts and bruises than Silva and Chael will again loose to a sub. Regardless of which fighter you like and which ones you don’t, Silva is unbeaten in the UFC and as a champion, which is more than can be said about any other mma fighter. This is not opinion……this is fact……..deal with it!

I agree that he’s tough to beat because of that notion, but what I’m saying is he’s in an mma fight, and seems to never respect the submissions. An Anderson fight iscan always be finished because of his well rounded abilities. I just think there isn’t alot of people who can hang with Anderson. Now with Vitor he’s a knock out artist who has a black belt from Carlos gracie, and has competed in Abu Dabi submisson grappling, so he can submit you as well as knock you out, and that’s dangerous for Anderson. Chael is a one trick pony. nearly all his fight go to a decsion because he lays and prays.

Anderson is a great technical fighter, but he isn’t too good against wrestlers from what i seen in this fight. he should step up his ground game, because he kind of looked helpless when Sohen was on top of him. overall though, the fight was not too interesting, because it was on the ground, i prefer stand-up fights, simply because they are filled with much more action. it’s good that anderson won, because i don’t really like Sohen, he has too big of a mouth and talks too much shit, even though he backed up what he said against Silva, he should shut the fuck up a lil bit.
